With the popularity of industrial Internet and the increasing scale of construction, there is an increasing demand for data transmission across network segments. In the past, we used routers or Layer 3 switches to achieve data transmission across network segments, but these devices provide many unnecessary functions, resulting in higher costs. In order to reduce the cost of IP integration of devices into the overlay network, GSEE-TECH introduces the Gigabit Secure Router: Firewall/NAT Router GRE-5GT-NAT-AC, which is developed specifically for industrial Ethernet and enables users to easily integrate into other more advanced production networks with the same IP subnet.

With 5 Gigabit Ethernet interfaces (10/100/1000BaseT(X)) and flexible firewall function with bi-directional dynamic packet filtering (WAN/ LAN ingress and egress), this router provides reliability and security for industrial IP networks.

In IP routing, the router forwards data in a regular manner, restricting the forwarding of broadcast messages through subnet segmentation to reduce network load. The router also features firewall and IP masquerading functions to protect the network from the threat of unauthorised access.The firewall function of the GRE-5GT-NAT-AC also features a variety of configurable filters to identify legitimate data messages while denying unauthorised access to the network.

This firewall/NAT router also integrates the function of AC controller with priority forwarding, which enables centralised management of all thin APs and wireless clients, making the WLAN network easy to manage and maintain.

The GRE-5GT-NAT-AC has the advantages of high integration, high reliability, high applicability, and high security. With its compact structure (108mm × 30mm × 85mm - HxWxD) and wide operating temperature of -15°C~50°C, it can also be better used in industrial sites, making it an ideal choice for cost-effective integration into a higher-level network.
